The ESPGHAN IBD Porto Group and the Local Organising Committee are delighted to announce the 10th Paediatric IBD Masterclass to take place in Zagreb, Croatia from December 04 - 06, 2025.

Welcome to the ESPGHAN IBD Masterclass, where experts in the field of Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease come together to share their knowledge, insights, and latest advancements in the management of IBD in children and adolescents.
This unique educational event aims to provide a platform for discussing complex cases, exploring conventional and innovative treatment strategies, and fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals dedicated to improving outcomes for young patients with IBD.

We hope this masterclass will inspire new ideas, spark fruitful discussions, and ultimately contribute to enhancing the care provided to children with IBD.

Trainees could be accepted based on availability. Preference will be given to ESPGHAN members.

The ESPGHAN Paediatric IBD Porto Group is a group of paediatric IBD experts from ESPGHAN whose goals are to generate collaborative international research and to provide a leadership role concerning current diagnosis and management of IBD in children.

The course language is English.
This school is supported by the ESPGHAN Education Partner Programme.

Applicants need to submit a current CV and motiviation letter detailing why they think they should be selected. 
The number of applicants is limited and delegates will be selected by the Porto Group after the application deadline. As we are keen to provide knowledge to as many delegates as possible and due to the high number of applicants for this activity, applicants who participated in this course after 2020 cannot be considered.

ESPGHAN Members may attend two courses per year and non-members may attend one course before becoming members of the society. 

Please do not make travel arrangements before receipt of a formal confirmation of acceptance from the ESPGHAN Office.

Delegates are expected to attend the full course and arrange their travel according to the course schedule.
