General Information

The ESPGHAN IBD Porto Group and the Local Organising Committee are delighted to announce the 9th Paediatric IBD Masterclass to take place in Dublin, Ireland from November 21- 23 2024.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of paediatric IBD, from aetiology to diagnosis and management. There will be outstanding opportunities to interact with course faculty. It is particularly aimed at those in advanced paediatric gastroenterology training, as well as practising paediatric gastroenterologists who wish to enhance their clinical IBD skills.

Trainees could be accepted based on availability. Preference will be given to ESPGHAN members.

The ESPGHAN Paediatric IBD Porto Group is a group of paediatric IBD experts from ESPGHAN whose goals are to generate collaborative international research and to provide a leadership role concerning current diagnosis and management of IBD in children.

The course language is English.
This school is supported by the ESPGHAN Education Partner Programme.

Applicants need to submit a current CV and motiviation letter detailing why they think they should be selected. 
The number of applicants is limited and delegates will be selected by the organizers after the application deadline. As we are keen to provide knowledge to as many delegates as possible, participants of previous ESPGHAN IBD Masterclasses will not be considered.

ESPGHAN Members may attend two courses per year and non-members may attend one course before becoming members of the society. 

Please do not make travel arrangements before receipt of a formal confirmation of acceptance from the ESPGHAN Office.

Delegates are expected to attend the full course and arrange their travel according to the course schedule.
